Frequently Asked Questions
-
Your first session includes time for conversation, assessment, and hands-on work. We’ll discuss your goals, relevant history, and how your body is currently feeling, then tailor the session accordingly. The work is focused, collaborative, and responsive to how your body responds.
-
The work can be intense at times, but it should never feel overwhelming or unsafe. Communication is encouraged throughout the session, and pressure is always adjusted based on your comfort and needs. Breathwork is also incorporated in the work, to move with your body’s rhythms. The goal is effective, thoughtful work - not pushing through pain.
-
A 60-minute session works well for focused concerns or maintenance.
A 90-minute session allows more comprehensive work with patterns of tension and movement.
A 120-minute session is best for complex or longstanding issues, or for full-body integration.
